Arianna Matta is an Italian painter whose practice investigates suspended landscapes, artificial environments and unstable natural spaces.

Her work moves between figuration and dissolution, often depicting gardens, pools, sports grounds, greenhouses and solitary figures caught in states of transition.

Through layered surfaces, reflections, erasures and shifts in perspective, Matta constructs spaces that appear at once familiar and elusive. Architecture and vegetation coexist in a fragile balance, while the human presence is often reduced to a trace, a fragment or an isolated figure within a larger environment.

Her work has been exhibited in Italy and internationally, including Los Angeles and Paris, with presentations at Galleria Forni, Galleria Russo, Basile Contemporary and Orizzonti Arte Contemporanea. Her work has also been presented at Arte Fiera Bologna and Roma Arte in Nuvola.
